A regional voice for Home Economics

ARAHE unites researchers, educators and practitioners across Asia to strengthen home economics as a discipline of sustainable, inclusive family and community life.

About ARAHE

The Asian Regional Association for Home Economics (ARAHE) is a network of national home economics associations across Asia, founded to advance research, professional practice, and education in the home economics discipline. Every two years, the Association convenes an international biennial congress that rotates across member countries.

ARAHE 2027 in Bangkok

The 23rd Biennial Congress is proudly hosted by the Home Economics Association of Thailand, in collaboration with leading Thai universities and government partners. It will bring together over 600 delegates from more than 20 countries for five days of scholarship, cultural exchange, and Bangkok hospitality.
